Why Local Matters
Chapters & Champions began as a student-led effort to collect sports equipment and books for kids right here at home. Global service experiences—like Courts for Kids trips—have expanded our perspective, but the heart of our mission remains local: equipping our neighbors so they can thrive in school and in play.

Red Barn Youth Center
Provides a safe, welcoming space where local youth grow academically, socially, and physically through after‑school programs, mentorship, healthy meals, and recreational activities.
The Wishing Well
Supports the physical and educational needs of foster children and underserved youth in Tacoma by providing clothing, school supplies, and essential resources so kids feel valued and prepared to succeed.
